Ottoman Hands partners with John Lewis

Ottoman Hands has announced the availability of its products in John Lewis & Partners, beginning with an online curated range of its bestsellers.

Launched on 29 July, the bestselling designs include their Zand Ruby Drop Earrings and Myia Hammered Roman Coin Earrings, which have been featured on hit TV shows - House of the Dragons and Emily in Paris.

This unique range will also offer its customers signature evil eye designs including the Azra Evil Eye Navy Pendant Necklace, perfect for spiritual jewellery lovers.

The handcrafted creations are gold-plated with up to 21ct for a high-quality finish on recycled brass and handset with semi-precious gemstones, making each piece different and distinctive.

Founded in 2010 in London by Deniz Gurdal, she began making jewellery in her bedroom and sold pieces on a market stall on Portobello Road.

Each design is influenced by Deniz’s Turkish heritage and as demand for Ottoman Hands jewellery grew, she discovered a small independent workshop in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar that could help bring her designs to life on a larger scale.

Ottoman Hands was inspired by the hands of the artisans that help create the unique jewellery. Today Ottoman Hands continue to work with the same artisans to create handmade, sustainable jewellery, inspired by antique designs blended with a contemporary twist.
