Searle & Co relaunches at London’s Royal Exchange

Bespoke jeweller Searle & Co has reopened its boutique at London’s Royal Exchange after closing in 2021.

The Searle & Co boutique had originally opened at the location in 1896 but was forced to close four years ago.

Now, the brand will be brought back in the same store with the same name, but under a different operator. A 10-year lease has been signed on the property.

The Royal Exchange is home to many luxury brands including Tiffany & Co., Omega, Montblanc, Hermès and Bremont.

In 2024, the exchange reached 96% occupancy, signaling it as a thriving location for the luxury market.

Managing director of The Ardent Companies UK, Andrew Hilston, said: “It is fantastic to see a historic jewellery brand such as Searle & Co return to The Royal Exchange, and highlights its position as the City of London’s leading luxury scheme.

“Alongside the new dining operators we have brought in, The Royal Exchange is the Square Mile’s destination of choice for premium shopping, eating and socialising.”
